The band and I are driving in the van on our way to St Louis. I’m actually looking at the skyline right now. St. Louis, let me just say that you’re looking beautiful today dispute the fact that the current weather makes it feel more like Gotham City. This is the first show of the 3rd leg of the “Boys Only (plus girls) Tour” w/our friends Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers. I have had a great time on this tour so far and I’m hoping that I can really soak it in on this last leg cause I know it’s going to fly by and then next thing I know I’ll be opening up a Christmas present (hopefully a plaid salt valley western shirt size small) and thinking “wasn’t I just in St. Louis??”

Tonight we’re playing at this place called the Duck Room. I like the Duck Room. It’s a really intimate place that we’ve played probably 4 or 5 times before and I always love it. Plus it’s on a cool street with lots of cool stuff like record stores and thrift shops where the band and I can spend our nightly 40 minutes of free time. Currently I’m looking for a pair of cool shoes that will replace the awesome white PF Flyers that I have been wearing almost every day (seriously) for the past 4 years but I lost them on the last run. So I’m going to try to find some cool shoes tonight in St. Louis but I don’t have high hopes because I have never found a pair of shoes at a thrift store since I wear a size 6 shoe. No, I’m just kidding. I wear a 9 1/2. But still, I have never found any cool shoes at a thrift store.

Don’t let me down St. Louis!
